Drew Hendrickson
I am not native to this lovely city. I came here to join what would be CMU’s graduating class of 2009 with Benjamin, and over those four-odd years, I learned to love simplicity, elegance and honesty in the design and manufacture of things; As it happens, I can seldom think of an object that exhibits those characteristics better than the bicycle. Speaking of bicycles- I see potential in every single one, even the ones that weren’t made with as much love and attention as others. You should know that I will undoubtedly start scheming about the possibility of bags and fenders on your bicycle, should I see it without. I can’t resist the offer of an unplanned bike ride- and should you invite me on one, I will always bring the peanut butter and jam sandwiches.
